Jay and Bernadette’s wedding day began with a warm, overcast August morning with the bride getting ready at her grandmother’s home. This is the home where many memories were created and the photos on the walls and shelves allow any visitor a peek into those passed days. Bernadette’s now a part of the long list of brides who made this space a part of their day, including her sister (see it here) and her parents and also got married to Jay in the church that is a huge part of not only her immediate family but her extended as well. The entire day was full of intentional details and locations to keep Jay and Bernadette at the center of the day’s events, including the Schwartz family farmhouse we stopped for portraits. These two, no matter what the day brought (heat, rain, lost photographer, HA!), didn’t stop cracking jokes and dancing which, in my opinion, is a great way to start a marriage.
