Everyone in the industry knows that fall is the most sought after season when it comes to weddings and photography. There’s a magic to the changing leaves, scents, and scenes that autumn offers that is like catnip to those here in the Midwest. Because of that, it’s also the busiest and why many in the wedding field may be losing some sleep trying to take advantage of a short, charming season. To keep our lives simple and showcase the elegance of a “less is more” approach, Jennifer of The Honey Farm and Lost & Found Rentals brought together a few vendors (our information below) to play in with the fall palette her venue offers and show off some of the overlooked spots her space offers. Keeping the day, the people, and the agenda light allowed myself to experiment with new romantic techniques of shooting, lighting, and posing, which has inspired me as I finished out the year. Know that having less vendors, less decor, and less of a budget can still allow you to acquire beautiful imagery for you big day or session.
