One of the perks to being a photographer is that you have a lot of creative freedom when it comes to photographing your own friends and family. The downside is that your own friends and family are more ORNERY than most clients, making your job a little harder. I’m only kidding! …Kind of.

I got the Luthman clan together because we have been overdue for photos since the youngest of the clan, Silas, was born. After many reschedules due to conflict and weather, we finally managed to get everyone to sit still for photos. I’m pretty proud of how they turned out despite someone having come from Country Concert (if you know, you know).
