Though there are some incredible photos of posed newborns on the internet, we always encourage lifestyle sessions when you’re welcoming a new member into your family and want to document it. Having a child, whether its your first or sixth, is an adjustment and can be stressful. The thought of bringing a photographer into the scene can increase anyones heart rate in this season of life. With that said, Macey and Clayton kept our time casual, allowing us to play with their puppy, Myles, take our time while MJ fed, and also talk about their birth story and how they’ve been doing. It was so incredible seeing this family and getting to watch Myles sneak kisses to MJ and see how smitten Macey and Clayton are with their daughter. Enjoy some of our favorites from their session.
