One thing you never consider when planning your wedding is a global pandemic. After two years of planning, dreaming, and waiting, Jordan and Kayla had to make some very hard decisions two months prior to their big day that resulted in changing their 300+ guest list to 20. Though their friends and extended family couldn’t witness their ceremony or toast them at the reception, they were creative enough to surprise the couple with balloons, bubbles, signs, and more when they walked out of their church hand in hand. As many are witnessing through the COVID-19 pandemic, the efforts being put forth to celebrate and love those around them has allowed us to bond as a community and a country, and the Luthman Wedding was a prime example. Jordan and Kayla’s reception was held, not in their dream venue, but in Jordan’s parent’s garage, though it barely resembled a garage. With some proper camera and lighting placement, plus gorgeous decorating, the toasts, the dances, and more had an air of class but still felt comfortable and home-y to the couple and their guests. Enjoy my favorites from Jordan and Kayla’s wedding and be sure to stay in the loop here for their wedding PART TWO in September.
